What the Android app stores

Trips, dates, item names, quantities, categories, people labels, bags, entered weights, notes, reusable kits and checklist progress are stored in the app's private storage on your device. People labels are text you choose; the app does not access your contacts or location.

The app does not request internet or sensitive runtime permissions. It has no account system, advertising, analytics, tracking, billing or other third-party runtime SDK. ApexNode does not receive your packing data through the app.

Exports and backups you choose

You may save a PDF checklist, CSV list or JSON backup through Android's document picker, or share PDF/text through an app you select. That action gives the chosen destination a copy. A cloud drive, messaging app or other provider handles the copy under its own privacy policy. Exports and backups are not encrypted by PackLatch; choose a suitable destination for personal notes.

Automatic Android cloud backup and device transfer are disabled. Back up to JSON before uninstalling, clearing storage or changing devices. Restoring adds independent copies and preserves their saved progress. PackLatch does not provide live collaboration or automatic device syncing.

Retention and deletion

Saved lists remain until you delete them or clear the app's storage. Deletion can be undone immediately within the app. A recovery copy of unreadable saved data may be retained locally so you can export it from Help. Clearing app storage or uninstalling removes this app's local lists and recovery files. Your exported or shared copies remain wherever you saved or sent them; delete those separately.

Temporary prepared export files are removed after successful saving; old temporary files are cleaned up on later launches. Support correspondence remains in the support mailbox as needed to address your request and maintain relevant records.

Support, Google Play and this website

If you contact apexnode.dev@gmail.com, your email address and whatever you send are processed by the email provider and used to respond. Please avoid sending private travel details unless they are needed for the issue.

Google Play handles app distribution and any upfront purchase under Google's privacy policy. PackLatch does not receive payment-card details.

This static support page is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. We have added no analytics, advertisements, external fonts or tracking scripts. Cloudflare may process technical request information, such as IP addresses, to deliver and protect the site. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.

Children and policy updates

PackLatch is a general planning utility marketed to adults. It is not directed at children and has no developer-operated account or data-collection service. If the app's data practices change, this policy and its effective date will be updated.
